Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Uzume is 175.5 cm tall, and he's very skinny. He doesn't put on weight easily.

2. How old is he?
19 in canon (29 by the end), 20 at Haven and Holly Heights.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Uzume is extremely fit. He very rarely gets sick.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Lots and lots of scars. He's a little bit tan, being outdoors most of the time.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Uzume was born with black hair, but has turned white due to trauma. His hair's very soft.

9. What color are his eyes?
A very pale lightbrown yellowish shade.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He draws marks on his cheeks.

11. What are his chief tension centers?

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
He's got a lot of white and purple in his packing. He likes clothes, but it's not rare for it to get torn due to fighting.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes are very comfortable, and works well in a fight.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He doesn't have a job, unless you count that he's a criminal.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Commando or fundoshi (traditional japanese underwear).


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He's extremely secure in his words, unless he's sad, but he's got a very bad hand with words. He frequently uses the wrong words, and doesn't even notice it. He's pretty loud, and speaks pretty fast a lot of the time.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Does turning to Chouza a lot count? Even when he's not there.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He only knows about one language, and that's Japanese. He's not very good at it, especially when it comes to writing.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
His usage of words gets worse the more excited or upset he is.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He does not think about what he's saying.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
No. Just. No.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He doesn't think ahead, and he rarely think much in general.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Extremely inituitive.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Kuroha did her best to teach him to write, read and speak better. It didn't go all that well though.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Fighting. Food.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He can have extreme mood-swings. Most of the time he's cheerful and energetic, but he cries easily.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's relaxed, trusting and enthusiastic, unless they meet as enemies in a fight.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act AND react.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He puns a lot, but he doesn't even get that he's doing it. He doesn't get pranks.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
....Who knows. Diagnosis didn't exist back then.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
The many years of abuse that he suffered through, the years spent with Kuroha and the others, and the time he travels with Utsuho and the others.

14. What does he fear?
Being alone.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Be together with his friends and family forever.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Nothing, really. He sucks at keeping secrets.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Non-existable. They died when he was really young, so he doesn't even know who they were.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Unknown! But if he does, they'd probably be older. and/or dead.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
None.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Chouza and Minamo (and later on Ageha), are those that he considers closest family. He's practically married to Chouza, and Minamo is pretty much his daughter. He also considers Utsuho, Yakuma and the others to be his family.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Chouza. They met when Kuroha picked him up after he had murdered all of those who had abused him for years on end.

6. Does he have other close friends?
yes. Especially Utsuho, but there's also Pochi, Neya, Yakuma, Iwashi, Hikae, Tsukumo, Minamo, Saiha and Kuroha and Banda (the last three are dead, though).

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
It's super easy for him to make friends. Might be harder for the person on the other end.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Both are the same.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Technically single, but is raising a child together with Chouza.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nyope.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
First? Possibly Neya.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He does...sort of have children. There's Minamo.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
He hates/hated Iriya, who killed Saiha and Kuroha. He also had a momentarily bad relationship with Hikae, who murdered Banda. Then, of course, there's his past abusers, though they are all dead. And then we've got all the bad guys in the manga. Never mind that he himself was a bad guy once.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Uzume likes girls, but he also has a fixation with Chouza.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
It's not important, he doesn't know much, but nude girls makes him nosebleed.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
No bedroom habits, he's a virgin (though probably not after the epilogue).


Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Using this site, I'd say some of them are accurate...? If Utsuho and Uzume were one person...

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
He believes in ghosts, that's about it.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Early on, (Haven!Uzume) he lives by "I hate this world, so I'll destroy it", and "kill the mean people". Later on (Holly Heights!Uzume), he has promised never to kill anyone again.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Um...He manages?

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He was lower standing than bugs, but now he's fairly normal. Though people are still mean because of his blood.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He doesn't have a house or anything, since he travells all the time. He travels with Chouza and Minamo, (Saiha, Kuroha and Ageha). For some time, also with Utsuho and the others.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Nothing. Chouza manages the money.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He's....an outlaw?

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He likes to eat, and he doesn't stand a drop of alcohol without passing out.
